Executive training that starts with your hardest decision

We don't lecture from slides. Each cohort works through a live strategic problem brought in by a participant. You leave with a decision made, a framework tested, and twelve peers who watched you think under pressure.

How a cohort actually runs

Four phases over eight weeks. No filler modules, no personality quizzes.

Week 1: Problem intake

Every participant submits a genuine strategic problem they face right now. Not a hypothetical. We review each submission and select the four that will give the group the widest range of decision types: resource allocation, organizational redesign, market entry, stakeholder conflict. If your problem is chosen, you present it on Day 1. If not, you serve as an adviser on someone else's, which is often more instructive.

Weeks 2–3: Diagnostic pressure

We assign each problem to a sub-team of three. Their job is to stress-test the framing: is this really the problem, or a symptom? Teams present competing diagnoses to the full cohort. The facilitator's role here is to block premature consensus. Disagreement is the product, not the byproduct.

Weeks 4–6: Decision architecture

Once the problem is correctly framed, each sub-team builds a decision tree with explicit trade-offs. We use structured analytic techniques borrowed from intelligence analysis: pre-mortem, red-teaming, key assumptions check. By week 6 you have a written decision memo that you could hand to your board.

Weeks 7–8: Commitment and debrief

The problem owner makes a decision in front of the cohort. Out loud. On record. Then we debrief the entire eight-week arc: where did your thinking shift, what biases surfaced, which peer challenge changed your mind? Each participant leaves with a personal decision playbook they can reuse.

Programs we run

Pick the format that fits your calendar and your problem.

Eight-week cohort +

Our flagship format. Twelve participants, two facilitators, eight Tuesday evenings (18:00–21:00 Eastern) plus a full-day Saturday session in week 5. Held at our Montréal studio or via secure video for distributed teams. Fee: $8,400 per participant, which covers all materials, meals during the Saturday session, and 90 days of post-program advisory access.

Three-day intensive +

Same methodology compressed into a Thursday-to-Saturday block. Best for leadership teams from a single organization who want to work on one shared problem. We cap these at eight participants to keep the room tight. Fee: $14,500 flat for the group, on-site anywhere in Canada. Travel billed at cost.

One-on-one advisory +

For CEOs and board chairs who need a thinking partner, not a classroom. Six 90-minute sessions over three months, scheduled around your calendar. We use the same diagnostic and decision-architecture tools but applied to your agenda exclusively. Fee: $6,200 for the six-session arc.

Board simulation day +

A full-day exercise where your executive team role-plays a board meeting under crisis conditions. We design the scenario from scratch based on your industry and recent strategic shifts. Participants receive written feedback within 48 hours. Fee: $9,800 for up to ten participants, held at your offices or ours.

Measured outcomes from past cohorts

We track what happens after the program ends, not just satisfaction scores at the door.

Regional bank, Ontario

31% faster

Time from strategic proposal to board approval dropped by nearly a third within six months. The VP of strategy credited the decision-memo format we teach: it forced her team to surface trade-offs before the meeting, not during it.

SaaS company, Vancouver

2 of 3 retained

Three C-suite executives who completed the cohort stayed through a difficult acquisition. The CEO said the peer network built during the program gave them a sounding board outside the company when internal politics got loud.

Healthcare network, Québec

$1.4M saved

A pre-mortem exercise during the intensive revealed a procurement dependency that would have cost the network $1.4 million if a single supplier defaulted. They restructured the contract within weeks of the program ending.
